This was my question too. Thanks for initiating.  Last week I sent ScanMyPhotos.com nearly 2,000 slides, still in my Kodak carousels.  They completed the work at 2000 dpi as jpeg files the same day.  Their website has several specials for photo scanning and other service. I used their buy 1 get 1 free photo albums that are easy to design on their website and, back same day too.</description>
